It's f-r-e-e-e-e-z-i-n-g. Well not quite freezing but it is only 43* outside. It's supposed to drop into the 20's tonight. Summer come back PLEASE!

So here I sit, at home. Bubby is still sick. He's been running a fever and is still really congested. My grandmother was able to watch him yesterday but today I unfortunately had to take off of work. I say unfortunately because I have no time left to take off. I will not get paid today. My step dad has offered to take off with him tomorrow so hopefully today is the only day I'll have to miss. I did take him to the doctor so it wouldn't be a wasted day. His doctor said his tonsils and lymph nodes are really swollen and he has a lot of drainage on the back of his throat. He's calling it viral right now. The CBC machine was broke so he's doing an overnight culture on the strep test just to make sure there's no bacteria. If he's still sick Thursday morning he wants him to come back in. My luck is he always gets magically better right after I take him to the doctor so hopefully it works like that this time! Oh and his tubes are still in place and look perfect so no worries there.

On a sad note, I went to pick up Jacob's Christmas pictures from his school yesterday and stopped in to talk to his teacher on the way out. I wanted to check and see if anyone else in his class was sick. There was a new lady in the room as well and Angie told me that the new lady was going to be Jacob's new teacher. Ms. Angie (his current teacher) is leaving and Wednesday (tomorrow) will be her last day. That means Bubby will not get to see her again before she leaves. I'm sad for him because when he does go back to school it will be to a complete stranger. I know he'll adjust well it's just going to be confusing for him at first.

Now I'm off to appease the sick man. He's currently ripping stuff up so mommy hood calls....
