catch up

well nothing too exciting has been going on lately. I thought I would blog about this weekend though. We had our first poopy experience. Bubby woke up at 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning and we went through our usual morning routine. Part of the routine is that I put him in his crib to play while I get more formula and get Binks' (our cat) food. He started crying while I was in the kitchen which is not out of the norm, he always fusses when I am not there. I hurry up and get back into the room and as I am walking towards him I notice he is holding one hand up in the air. I then notice POOP on his crib sheet and my first thought is poor baby he must of had diarrhea and it came out the sides of his diaper. I then get closer and realize his diaper is hanging off his butt. He pulled the front of the diaper out from beneath the velcro straps but they were velcroed on top of each other so they kept the diaper around his waist. He had a pile of poop in the crib. There was poop all over his hand, all down his legs, and all over his socks. I pick him up trying to keep him from grabing me and rush him into the bathroom. He had a 5:00 a.m. shower and I cleaned up all of the poopy mess! Not how you want to start your weekend!

He is eleven months old today! Unfortunately he is also sick as a dog. As usual it looks like it is his ears. I am not 100% sure the last ear infection cleared up. Needless to say I am planning on getting him in to the doctor tomorrow and I am going to find an ENT to talk to about putting in tubes. I am so over these ear infections! I cannot handle seeing him in this much pain. He is propped up on some pillows right now passed out on the den floor. He's been asleep since about 5:15 p.m. which is not Jacob he is usually nonstop when we get home.
