First Post!

I guess I should start off by saying hello!

I have followed many blogs online of families who lead far more interesting lives than mine. I finally decided last night that it doesn't matter if I do not have this extravagant back story. I am still going to blog dang it! The main purpose will be to make note of milestones that my son Jacob hits and when. Here is the his most recent big acheivement

Jacob took his first REAL steps. Norma (his daycare teacher) said he took two or three steps at daycare during the day. When I picked him up from daycare I noticed he stepped towards me instead of falling to his knees and crawling like he normally does. When we got home and settled in I took him in the den with my stepdad Steven and we tested him. Sure enough he took off walking. He was running more than walking really! I made sure to tell him to be careful when I dropped him off this morning. I have a feeling we have a lot of bumps and bruises in the near future!
