Catch up

Well this weekend was obviously busy with the holiday and all. Easter Sunday was good. We ended up not going to church b/c I thought Jacob's dad was coming over that morning. He called close to noon and said he was just going to come that night so that sent me into a frenzy trying to get ready and play catch up. We ended up going to my grandmother's house and eating lunch. We then sat around watching basketball! The older kids did Easter egg hunts but we stayed inside with the adults. Jacob beat up on his (second) cousins and had fun playing with them all. Memphis won our game but not by much! I am glad we have advanced to the Sweet 16 though. Jacob ended up falling asleep on the way home from grandma's house and slept almost a full hour after we got home which threw our schedule for the night all off. He played with his dad for a while and then he got to take a bath with all of his new toys from his Easter baskets. He got several different toys and some clothes from mommy. Oh yeah and shoes! With walking becoming a normal thing for him shoes are a must!

Yesterday I decided to stay home and take bubby to the doctor. He had been having balance issues all weekend and was fussy so I figured the ear infection had struck again. Sure enough he has an infection in his left ear. Luckily the doctor listened to us this time and went straight to Augmentin. It took 3 oral antibiotics plus 2 shots last time to get them cleared. He seems really dizzy or maybe his head hurts right after he wakes up from his naps. I am guessing it is head congestion or fluid in his ears. Poor kid. Let's hope this is the last cold/ear infection for this year. Spring is almost here so hopefully this cold season will be OVER!

I'm back at work today. I've got some sinus drainage myself. I can't seem to get going at all! Pretty sad when it is only Tuesday and I am already needing the weekend to be here!
